Games on this level often seem very slow because of how large this map is. This is another map that you don't want to play with less than 4 players. The architecture of the map is simple, and the pipes at the bottom that everyone seems to fall off of are one of the most annoying things in multiplayer! This is one of those maps that some like, but most don't.

Be extra careful when you are walking on these pipes and don't even think of strafing. If you are on these pipes and you get shot even just once or twice you are likely to fall off. You probably want to avoid these pipes all together cause the only thing on them is the slot 3 weapon which you can also get upstairs. |

If you are looking for the most dishonorable award then come to this room. Although this room doesn't get much traffic, there are five or six player re-spawn points nearby so you probably can kill people before they get a weapon. The only thing you should take caution of is for snipers above. |

If you want to snipe, than this is the spot for you. This is a little area up top where you can quickly kill your unaware opponent below! |

This is another area for sniping. It is right across the area above. |

This is one of the most important areas in the map, especially because the only two ladders from the lower floor end here. The best part of about this room is that most of the newbies will stack up in here. If you are playing with the Laptop Gun this is the ideal place to place it. Place it behind one of the ladders next to the wall and watch your opponents run in and get torn up before they can touch you! You can do the same thing with proximity mines too! |

The slot one and three weapons are around here making this an excellent place to retreat to when you are low on health or items. If you just get spawned nearby, you probably want to stop here since there is usually no one around. |

This is definitely the best sniping spot in the level. One of the reasons why is because the slot six weapon slot is right behind you. Also, you can feel free to jump if you want to because you won't get hurt! |

This intersection receives lots of traffic. There is a bridge up top and three doors on the bottom. |

This is an area in the top half of the map. The top half of Pipes isn't the greatest place to have battles because of the thin hallways and because there is no where to hide. One good part about this area is the slot six weapon is nearby! |
Special Level Strategy: There is a special strategy you might want to try out for this level. It is a loop that you might want to take. First start off down in the main room (by E) and grab a weapon. Then move up into the tunnels and get the slot six weapon (or shield)! By doing this if slot six is a weapon you can get even more firepower and if it's a shield it will give you double health!
